As a preferred provider of CPR Training for Green Cross Health, all Auckland based participants are encouraged to register for CPR Training on one of our public courses. Click on the venue that best suits you to see the upcoming dates.

Alternatively, all levels of CPR Training are now available in a blended learning format where you can complete the theory online prior to a face-to-face session with a PRS instructor.  In the face-to-face session you will demonstrate the practical aspects of the content learnt in the online module.

We currently run face to face practical's in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga/Rotorua, Wellington and Christchurch.

The content covered in our blended learning courses follow the guidelines of the Australian and New Zealand Resuscitation Council (ANZCOR). All PRS courses are endorsed by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

Upon completion of the online module, learners will receive a digital interim certificate valid for 3 months. The practical session must be completed within this time.

CPR Skills ( Level 2/3), for Health Care Assistants, Pharmacy Assistants, Administration members, Non clinical staff & General Public

  • Basic Life Support Adult and AED (assessment)

  • Basic Life Support Child, Infant

  • Basic management of Choking

  • Community management of Anaphylaxis 

Immediate Responder (Level 4),  for Health Professionals, Nurse Vaccinators, Pharmacists, Dentists, and Service Groups

  • Adult collapse management plan and AED (assessment)

  • Team scenario practice

  • Management of Anaphylaxis

  • Paediatric collapse management plan    

  • Airway Management (Bag Valve Mask, Oropharyngeal airway Oxygen, Suction, Laryngeal Mask Airway)

  • Management of Choking for Adult, Child and Infant


Advanced Responder (Level 5+) for Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses working in A&M or Rural, Dentists administering Sedation

  • Adult collapse management plan and AED (assessment)

  • Manual Defibrillator

  • Team scenario practice

  • Management of Anaphylaxis

  • Paediatric collapse management plan

  • Airway Management (Ambubag, Oropharyngeal airway (Guedal airways), Oxygen, Suction, LMA)

  • Resuscitation Drugs

  • EZ-IO

  • Management of Choking
